Tree Of Stitches

The Mojo is really working this weekend. Here is my Tree of Stitches, I started it last night. I just finished part 4 and haven't the faintest idea where I am going color wise in this one but I know it will be great. Many thanks to Abi  Gurden for the great design and the chance to learn and practice all these great speciality  stitches. I signed up with The Stitch Specialists in Yahoo Groups but the sal was over when I signed up but we were still able to get this great project. She has another one starting soon call The Great Escape.

I was going to do this on a piece of tea-dyed material that I dyed last week but I just didn't like it after all so I pulled a piece of 28 ct linen that I had in my stash. I really like how it is turning out so alls good in the end.

Happy Stitching everyone and I will post again soon.

The colours look good on that fabric. One good thing about a SAL that's over? You get all the tips.

Great progress and lovely stitching. I've stalled at part 4 and I'm not sure why. After seeing yours, mine is screaming for attention again.

This is lovely, well done. Initials and date look fine.

I just started this recently, too - isn't it fun? I'm glad I finally joined the group and was able to get this - I tried to resist, and couldn't :) I'm up to part 7, but put it away for a bit...

So pretty! You'd gotten even farther along when I saw it on Wednesday, I think.
