WIPocalypse Day Late

I finished my Guest Room Sampler in November, this one was on my 2012 Wipocalypse list. I added and started the Celtic Wedding sampler for my niece.

IHSW November 2012H

I started this IHSW on Friday afternoon when I started the Celtic Wedding Sampler by Dinky Dyes for my niece Ashlea who is getting married next May.

All I can say about this great pattern is 1/4 and 1/2 stitches are going to be my best friends before its done. They are what is going to make all these Celtic knots pop but they do take a while. 

Here is where I ended on Saturday evening:

Those knots take a while and my eyes started to cross so these are going to take a slow and steady pace to get them done right.

Wipocalyse for Oct 2012

Not much to post this month, didn't touch my stitching for almost a whole month. 
Here is the Guest Room Sampler, I have to finish the flowers in the middle then its done. I found the perfect frame for it at the 2nd hand store this weekend. It will look great with the sampler and I will post again when its all framed.

This is where I ended on August 30th, and below is where I ended last night Oct 29th. It should be finished in a week or two.

IHSW Sept 2012 and TUSAL for Sept Too.

This IHSW weekend I worked on my Guest Room Sampler. I had to take out the first lettering I did because the ecru which is called for I just couldn't see it, as you can see in the first picture. I tried a few different floss colors and decided on 612. It looks nice with the green in the piece and I am happy with it.

August Wipocalypse II

Here is my second update for August. I worked on my Quaker Welcome sampler and I started a new project from my Wipocalypse List for 2012.

Did not add much in August 

This is where I got on The Guest Room in August. I am going to pull out the few letters I have in the middle and change the floss color. The Ecru is lost on the tea-dyed fabric that I choose for this project. 

Happy Stitching Everyone, I am going back to enjoying my visit from my sister Janet. She is here until Sept 4 she is staying a whole week and I am very happy to see her. 

IHSW August Progess

I started a new project last Tuesday and I am loving it. I worked on it for the IHSW this weekend all plus started reading Kay Hooper Bishop series, finished book one. I have also been playing Words With Friends and visiting with one of the neighbors.

I started one of the projects from my Wipocatypse list, The Guest Room Sampler by Moira Blackburn.

This is where I was when I picked it on on Friday afternoon to start my IHSW.

Here is where I stopped Sunday night a skein and a half of DMC number 730. I am using 28 ct tea-dyed linen over 2 and it is working up very fast.
