Friendly_Stitchers UFO SAL

Last night I joined a few other stitchers from the Freindly_Stitchers Yahoo Group in a UFO SAL on Thursday nights for 2010. My first UFO will be In Remembrance from Liz Navickas Designs. I started it in 1998 in remembrance of my dad, he passed away in 1994. I was going to do it for my mother. Well needless to say it got stuck in a drawer when something else came along, and back then I was only working on one piece at a time and just never picked it back up. My Mom passed away in 2008 and I think it is time to start working on this piece again in remembrance of both my parents.

Here is where I was when I started last night:

And here are the hearts after I stitched on this piece for a few hours.

Sorry the pictures aren't better, I reformatted my hard drive and I haven't loaded my picture software back on the laptop. Now gee where did I put those disc's. Let me say you don't realize how much you use something until you forget to reload it on you PC.
Happy Stitching all.

That's a great sampler to remember both your parents. It must feel good to be working on it again.
