OMG Its been over a month.

Wow its been over a month since I posted, that is bad bad bad. So I will make this a good one. I have been keeping busy doing everything but stitching until this week. I did pick up my stitching on Thursday to work on The Guest Room. I have a bunch left to do but it is a start. I plan to work on it this week since my calendar looks pretty clear for right now.

Monday I am going to join a bunch of ladies up at the Arts and Crafts building for stitching I'm hoping it will keep me stitching.

I have been staying busy here in Florida. I am taking Mah-Jongg lessons and will be joining a group of players every week. And let me tell you it is not like the mah-jong match it game we have all played on line.

I have signed up for the Citizen Patrol here in On Top Of The World and they are doing my back ground check now than I will join the group in patrolling the area.
I have joined the Shutterbugs which is the photo group here in OTOW, they meet 3 times a month.
I am also drawing after taking a drawing class which I enjoyed. Then next month I am going to take a oil painting class, than watercolor and pastels and than acrylic until I find out which media  I want to work in. I have always loved to doodle and draw so this is going to be part of my retirement.
I may also be taking up quilting but I am still on the edge about that. I love the idea of quilting but I just don't know if it is something I want to do. I will keep you posted about that.
Well I will close for now and will keep you all posted on my stitching.

Happy Stitching everyone.

Geeze woman! When do you find time to sleep? That is one busy retirement. You'll have to show the whole Guest Room next post.

Hey, why don't you find something down there to do? Wow! You are one busy retiree. Just reading about the things you're doing and going to do is making me tired. I still miss ya but I'm glad you are enjoying your retirement.

So glad you've found fun things to get involved with. Everyone I know that has retired has said the same thing, "I don't know how I ever got anything done while I was working." Of course, like you, they're doing fun stuff and not the nasty W word!
