The Puzzler

The Puzzler has it's pieced border and now to decide if I am going to put a second border on it or just go with the one border and binding.
I am amazed that I could make an interesting quilt top like this from 2nd hand shirts. It was fun to figure out all the parts and a pain in the butt to get than all to stay in order.

Pot 4 Dickie will get worked on tomorrow and I should finish the band I am on and start the next one. I also have to chart my name and my grandfathers name to replace the one that is on the chart. Long Dog Samplers included a letter chart so you can personalize the sampler. It is going to make it even more special than it already is.
My friend Gail sent me a box of fabric scraps and  some of the strips almost jumped out of the box to be used. So I made myself a set of place mats and love them. They turned out great, a little big but they work for me.

Happy Stitching Everyone.
