Art Class

I took another Oil Painting class on Monday. I did a beach scene and I think I like it, but I see where I over did it with the grasses. But I did learn a few new technique's which is why I go to the classes. I think it looks pretty good on the wall with my other water scenes.

I also dug in my frame box and found the frames for both the Traveling Patterns that I finished in the last two months. Now I must get them pressed and mounted and into these frames so they can go on my wall.

Happy Stitching and don't forget to sign up for the "Count Your Blessings" Traveling Pattern. I will draw the winner on Friday the 15th.

Out of the Mist

Took a paint class on Monday so I wanted to show you all my newest painting. My daughter Heather found it in the Masters of Possibilities and asked me to do it for her. Since its oil paint it will take a few months to dry before I can mail it to her in Missouri or she is going to pick it up when they come visit this summer. I think it turned out pretty good and I also brought the frame to go with it and it sets it off.

Guess I should make a separate page for my painting next.
Happy Stitching everyone, I have all next weekend for the IHSW and will post on Friday before I start stitching.

Art Class Today

Here is my painting in Acrylics that I did today in my painting class. I still think I am liking oils better but I'll see.

Drawing Class

I had my 3rd day of a 5 day drawing class, I am enjoying it. We have mostly worked on perspectives and shading in our pencil drawings. I am already signed up for the next class and I am thinking about a painting class too.
