What a way to start a sick day.

Today I stayed home because I am having some nasty stomach problems. I did go ahead and started some laundry when I got up. I was in the kitchen getting tea when I heard water bubbling in the kitchen sink as the washer drained. This has never happened before and when I got to the bathroom, where the washer and dryer are located, I found bubbles and water backed up in the tub and toilet. There was water all over the floor. Ick I sure didn't feel good enough to be cleaning up the da** water, but I did. Long story short, the management came and cleaned out the outside sewer line. The ivy around my place had worked it's way in to the drain, they pulled out a 5 foot long bunch of roots. Oh my good what a mess. But all is good now, at least that's what the guys told me.

NOW ON TO MY STITCHING :-)
I worked on my Castles in the Air this week and have finished the blue on the right peacock. I will get the spots next week and start on the flowers. Part 6 is still not out, I hope RL won't keep Yvonne from finishing the installments. I love this piece.

I worked on my HAED, The Untold Story last night for about 2 1/2 hours and will do more next weekend during the HAED SAL.
TUTS 10.01

I am going to be working on my Mystic Stitch piece, Sea Sprite tonight and the rest of the weekend.

So far keeping my stitching rotation in a calendar journal has been working for me. I marked down a weekend for each of my 4 large pieces and then I'm stitching Castles in the Air and other pieces in during the week. I'm also keeping track of the hours I put in stitching, if I remember. As I said so far it is working for me.

Bummer about the washing backup, but at least you didn't have to deal with the sewer lines! Love your updates on Castles, keeps me motivated to want to put some stitches in it. Almost done with my Mystic, so it will see some stitching soon! I opened a Blogger blog now too....if it's easier for you to follow than my Multiply site.

I completely understand the sewer problems but we have to deal with our own and that is horrible at times!!! Your stitching is just gorgeous!! Wonderful progress! Hope you are feeling better soon!

Gosh, your HAED is GORGEOUS March Ann. Just saw that you became member on the HAED blog and had to fly over to see what HAED you're working on.

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. And hopefully the sewer problems are fixed now.

Your castles look great too.

Wow, you have some great projects on the go. Love your HAED.
Hopefully your stomach feels better by now. It must be like that because the bug seems to have made its way over the ocean and landed here at my place, lol.
