OMG another problem

I started working on Family Treasures III back in 1987 or 8 when I first learned to cross stitch. It just kept getting put at the bottom of the stitching box over and over again. But this year I decided to get it out and put it in my WIPocalypse list and I have been working on it for the last week. Last night I started the last six inches of the design and unrolled the bottom folds of the fabric to set it up on the Q-snap.  Yes, you can guess what I have found. The end of the scroll work at the bottom of the bell pull was 75 stitches down from where I was stitching but the end of the fabric is 70 stitches from where I am now.  So after much cussing and muttering about the almost 8 inches at the top of the bell pull I put on my thinking cap and stated making some adjustment in the scroll work and the bottom of the design. With these changes I am going to have a bare inch to use to make this a bell pull. I'll post a close up of the picture and the finished piece, I think it still looks good just not as many curly cues.

Pomarium

Martina at Chatelaine just posted the material list for Pomarium (Pommie from now on) today, wow what a list. I am only on the 2nd part of Herbie and she already has the second one out. Maybe I need to put all the others away for awhile and just work on Chatelaine's. Nope don't see that happening this year but maybe that is what I will do next year.
Of Course I am also signed up for the Zen Garden one that starts next month.

OMG !!!

It nearly happened to me once so now I am very generous with all my margins.

I am so pleased you managed to make some adjustments.

Been there - twice with the same piece! Glad you were able to modify the pattern - I threw mine away! Martina is definitely making my "no new stash" plan difficult! Zen Garden is screaming for me to buy it.
