Its 500 grams of DMC 310, it's approximately 2270 yards. That's going to be more than enough to do this project. The fabric should be here tomorrow since the piece I had wasn't big enough after all. What a shame I had to buy new 40 count Linen and some new needles.
Started a new quilt today for my brother in law Richard. I am using the flannel shirts he gave my when I was there in October. I deboned the shirts while I was getting over my Knee Replacement but just put them away and forgot about getting the quilt made. I am going to make a Scrappy Mountain Majesty by Bonnie K Hunter. I have 20 blocks done and was playing with layouts but have not decided which one I am using.

It never occurred to me to order a cone of floss! What a fabulous idea. I will be using a slightly variegated, so the cone idea for this piece will not work, but I will need to consider that from some of my other huge piece. Where do you order it from on cons?
