June TUSAL and a Welcome update

Well I have gotten some stitching done in the last two weeks now that I am almost settled in my new home.
So here is my Tusal jar finale unpacked and back in place by my stitching chair.

Here is my Welcome sample when I put it away in March.
As you may know it is a band sampler that I plan to turn on its side so that I can put it over the top of the doorway instead of up and down.

So it was on the q-snaps when I picked it up the other week and added two more medallions. When I took this picture yesterday I noticed the difference can you see it too.
Yes I think I went from one strand of floss to two strands when I picked it up last week. So do I leave it and go back to one strand or do I just keep using two strands.Have to say I really like how the two strands of floss look.  Gerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr why didn't I double check under the q-snaps.

I can't really tell the difference in the picture. It looks a little brighter but that's it.

The two strands makes the last two medallions a little darker but knowing you it will probably get picked out and restitched to make it match.

Its really lovely!! I agree with Minnie - a bit darker, that's all.

Hi MarchAnn! Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog about my zentangle inspired art! And welcome to our pattern-filled world! It's addictive, I warn you. I do a lot of stitching myself, mostly patchwork but occasionally a bit of X-stitch. Your work looks lovely, as does your tiny froglet!
